Met 30 inzendingen bleek 2025 opnieuw een vruchtbaar jaar te zijn. Niet alleen de hoeveelheid, maar ook de kwaliteit van de ingestuurde scripties lag – opnieuw – hoog. Dat is over de jaren heen een opvallende trend: scripties winnende kunstopleidingen worden steeds verscheidener in vorm en structuur, zonder dat de kwaliteit daaronder lijdt. Integendeel zelfs: door een vorm en structuur te kiezen die klopt voor het gekozen onderwerp, winnen de scripties aan diepgang, leesbaarheid en relevantie voor de eigen artistieke praktijk.

Scriptiekunst.org wordt vanaf 2025 georganiseerd vanuit de drie lectoraten binnen de kunsten: ‘Technology Driven Art’, ‘What Art Knows’ en ‘Resilient Design Practice’. Nu die drie lectoraten samen een Werkcentrum gaan vormen, verzameld rond de centrale onderzoeksstrategie ‘thinking with your hands’, leek het ons gepast om de jury te vormen van scriptiekunst.org 2025.

We koppelen de uitreiking scriptiekunst.org 2025 aan onze aanwezigheid op de Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, tijdens het feestelijk afsluitmoment in Sectie C, op zondag 26 oktober om 14u.

De Jury scriptiekunst.org 2025 bestaat uit Tom Luyten (Resilient Design Practice), Ties van de Werff What Art Knows) en Peter Missotten (Technology Driven Art).

De jury heeft uit de zeer diverse en hoogstaande inzendingen unaniem een duidelijke winnaar gekozen:

* Emily Wermeier (Master Interior Architecture) met ‘Architecture speaks, are you listening? – The influence of sound of the experience of space.’

Daarnaast wil de jury graag drie aanmoedigingsprijzen uitreiken voor drie scripties die – op de meest uiteenlopende wijze – indruk gemaakt hebben op de jury:

• Jente Belle Jonkhoff (Bachelor Theater) met ‘careful, she might leak on you’
• Nerea Contreras Benito (Master Interior Architecture) met ‘Time and Emptiness in Paused Spaces’
• Jakub Skorvaga (iArts) met ‘jakob lotta’s notes on love aiDS ; Age Ambiguity and the making of Novena Hopes’

With 30 entries, 2025 proved to be another fruitful year. Not only the quantity, but also the quality of the theses submitted was – once again – high. This has been a striking trend over the years: theses from winning art programs are becoming increasingly diverse in form and structure, without compromising on quality.
On the contrary, by choosing a form and structure that suits the chosen subject, the theses gain depth, readability, and relevance to the students’ own artistic practice.

Starting in 2025, Scriptiekunst.org will be organized by the three research groups within the arts: “Technology Driven Art,” “What Art Knows,” and “Resilient Design Practice.” Now that these three research groups are going to form a Work Center, gathered around the central research strategy ‘thinking with your hands’, it seemed appropriate to us, to form the jury for scriptiekunst.org 2025 for once.

We are linking the scriptiekunst.org 2025 award ceremony to our presence at Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, during the festive closing event in Section C, on Sunday, October 26, at 2 p.m.

The scriptiekunst.org 2025 jury consists of Tom Luyten (Resilient Design Practice), Ties van de Werff (What Art Knows), and Peter Missotten (Technology Driven Art).

From the highly diverse and high-quality submissions, the jury unanimously chose a clear winner:

Emily Wermeier (Master Interior Architecture) with ‘Architecture speaks, are you listening? – The influence of sound on the experience of space’.

In addition, the jury would like to award three incentive prizes for three theses that impressed the jury in very different ways:

• Jente Belle Jonkhoff (Bachelor Theater) met ‘careful, she might leak on you’
