Night Light Walk met Diana in Halle (Duitsland)
Op vrijdag 9 oktober 2026 neemt kunstenaar en onderzoeker Diana Ramaekers deel aan de Night Light Walk in Halle (Duitsland), georganiseerd door de Nationale Academie van Wetenschappen Leopoldina en het Planetarium Halle in het kader van het themajaar Stadt Licht Leben Energie.
Tijdens een avondwandeling door de stad verkennen deelnemers de invloed van kunstlicht op onze ervaring van de nacht. Ramaekers begeleidt de groep ‘Dunkelheit wahrnehmen’ en nodigt deelnemers uit om de duisternis als ervaringsruimte te onderzoeken: door langzamer te kijken, kleuren en contrasten in het halfduister waar te nemen en stil te staan bij hoe duisternis onze zintuigen en perceptie verandert.

Night Light Walk with Diana in Halle, Germany
On Friday, 9 October 2026, artist-researcher Diana Ramaekers will take part in the Night Light Walk in Halle, Germany, organised by the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and Planetarium Halle as part of the cultural programme Stadt Licht Leben Energie.
During an evening walk through the city, participants will explore how artificial light shapes our experience of the night. Ramaekers will lead the group “Perceiving Darkness”, inviting participants to experience darkness as a space for observation: slowing down their gaze, discovering colors and contrasts in low light, and reflecting on how darkness transforms perception.
