Mingler Scholarship 2020 naar Marlies Vermeulen en Klasien Horstman
Beeldend kunstenaar Marlies Vermeulen en hoogleraar filosofie van de gezondheidszorg Klasien Horstman ontvangen het Mingler Scholarship 2020 voor hun project Bacteria & Borders. Ties van de Werff benoemd als lid commissie Wetenschappelijke Integriteit Onderzoek Zuyd
Vanaf 1 april beschikt Zuyd over een Commissie Wetenschappelijke Integriteit Onderzoek (WIO). De WIO is een adviescommissie, die onderzoekers over ethische, juridische en procedurele kwesties aangaande hun onderzoek adviseert. Te denken valt aan vragen rondom toestemming om betrokken te worden in een onderzoek, of privacy-aangelegenheden. Ook kan het raadzaam zijn om de commissie om advies… ↗

Lectoraat Autonomie en Openbaarheid in de Kunsten (Zuyd Hogeschool) opent een digitale ruimte voor reflectie op kunst en de kunstenaar in tijden van corona Maastricht, 8 April – Van gestreamde opera’s tot online theatervoorstellingen: corona-kunstinitiatieven zijn overal. Kunstenaars, festivals en cultuurinstellingen tonen werkprocessen, digitale registraties, persoonlijke achtergrondverhalen en speciaal aangepaste producties. Cartopology, or how to create your own discipline?
In her PhD-project artistic resesarcher Marlies Vermeulen aims to combine anthropological fieldwork with cartographical techniques to notate the local qualities of space. She calls this approach Cartopology.
