Research Studio: Innovation of the classical music practice – Imogen Eve

Innovation is the buzz word in contemporary symphonic music orchestras. Orchestras experiment with collaborating with different art disciplines, introducing technologies to their concerts, or changing the ways the public can participate in concert settings. All too often, such innovations have little artistic merit. In the research studio, supervised by Imogen Eve, Master students of the Conservatory Maastricht experiment with musically relevant and interesting ways of innovating the symphonic orchestra music practice.
