On September 11th at 5:30 pm Valentina Curandi inaugurates the beginning of her PhD trajectory in artistic research practice with MERIAN (Maastricht Experimental Research in and through the Arts Network).
How can artistic practice support research on the relevance of death management in the arts?
The kick-off event takes the form of a performative act. It focuses on the search for a methodology to open dialogues with artists and organisations about the needs for assistance and inclusion in the fields of death management and legacy making. With support from: Dayna Casey (Speaker), Flora Valeska Woudstra (Pacemaker), Leon Filter (Executor), Stephan Blumenscheim (Sound Operator). In absentia: Kate Olson (Voice). The event will last ca. 30 minutes, followed by discussion and drinks.
